A Houston native, Dr. Baumgartner’s focus in clinical practice is to improve the quality of life for each of his patients based on their individual needs and particular health status. He currently sees patients at our Willowbrook clinic location. Dr. Baumgartner obtained his Bachelor of Science in biomedical science from Texas A&M and his medical degree from the UT Health Science Center at Houston Medical School. He completed his general surgery internship at the University of Illinois at Chicago Mt. Sinai Hospital Medical Center and then went on to complete both an anesthesiology residency and fellowship in interventional pain management at Rush University Medical Center in Chicag

Phillip C. Phan, MD

Dr. Phillip C. Phan is the former assistant professor of Neurosurgery and director of Interventional Neuromodulation and Pain Management at Baylor College of Medicine (BCM). Prior to BCM, Dr. Phan worked at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, where he served as director of Interventional Pain Management. Dr. Phan helped to create both of MD Anderson's  inpatient and outpatient clinical pain treatment programs. Dr. Phan is a graduate of the BCM Anesthesiology Residency Training Program and completed an interventional pain management fellowship at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. He earned his medical degree from BCM and  received his BA from Rice University.

Dr. Dang’s goal in clinical practice is to improve the quality of life for each of his patients based on their individual needs and particular health status. He believes that a multimodal approach including - but not limited to- physical therapy, medication management, and interventional injections/procedures can help to achieve and maintain pain relief.
