Frequently Asked Questions

What are the clinic’s office hours?

We have several clinic locations around Houston. Our office hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. We are closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

How do I get to the clinic and do I have to pay for parking?

Parking is free at all our locations. Please check the appropriate clinic location for directions.

Where can I get the new patients forms for my appointment?

You can download our clinic forms online so you can fill them out prior to your visit.

How long will my visit last?

Please arrive early for your appointment so that we may process any necessary paperwork. This helps us stay on schedule and allow us to see you as close to your scheduled time as possible. For your first visit, please plan to be at our clinic for 1-2 hours. We appreciate your understanding!

What is your policy on prescriptions refills and lost prescriptions?

Due to the high risk of dependency and abuse potential, all controlled prescriptions will be discussed with you and given to you during your appointment. Lost or stolen prescriptions will not be replaced. Unfortunately, once we have given you your prescription, it is your responsibility to have it filled. If you are having issues finding a pharmacy that will fill your prescriptions, your insurance company can offer guidance on how to do so.

What if I have a questions for the provider?

If you have an emergency, please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

All phone calls are answered by Houston Pain Centers Call Center staff. If we are currently busy talking with other patients and you care to leave a message, please speak clearly and leave your name, a phone number where you can be reached, and a brief message. If you care to stay on the line, our system will let you know your estimated wait time and the order in which your call has been received.

All phone calls will be addressed by our staff or your provider by the end of the day or the end of the next business day. Please do not leave duplicate messages as they might delay returning your phone call.

Will I be able to receive injections on the same day as my visit?

All injections are scheduled after your consultation with one of our specialists. We are able to schedule injections within 3 days of your first visit.
